VCU is going to be a tough 1st round team to beat. Reminds me a lot of BU's Sweet 16 team. Drive and dish out for the 3 time and time again. Really get that offense spread out, tough to play D against them.

Due to George Mason's loss to Creighton in the Bracketbuster and two losses to VCU, there is no chance of them making the NCAA tournament, so Creighton is still okay for now.

However, that Siena/Niagara game is tight in the 2nd half and HAS to go the way of Siena! Gonzaga is pouring it on St. Mary's at the moment, but SM may or may not get in anyway. But the way Gonzaga is beating them, that could be the deciding factor.

Huge upset today as previously winless DePaul takes out Cincinnati 67-57! Although they still look safe for the NIT, this loss may just send Cincy right down to the CBI again!

USA is always a tough out in the Sun Belt tourney.

              And St. John's beats Georgetown.

Rutgers gave ND some fits in South Bend last week. Could be a third upset at the Garden.

                        - Minnesota over NWestern 31-25 @ half

-Louisville currently up on Providence by 8 w/ min left in 1st half

-VT up on Miami by 4 w/ 1 min left in 1st half

-Xavier leads SLU by 5 w/ 4 min left in 1st half...

None of which would be upsets BUT:

Baylor leads Kansas by 12 in the Big 12 tournament

Yes, we'll know soon whether a few of these big bubbles will pop. So far so good.

Xavier ended up blowing out SLU.

Baylor and KU are locked up at 51 with 10:07 to play.

Kentucky is trailing at half in the SEC tourney.

And Baylor ends up winning. They are a talented team and I wouldn't put a bubble-bursting conference tournament championship past them.

Kentucky beats Ole Miss 71-58. Kentucky still needs to make it to the SEC championship game at the very least, if not win the whole thing to make the tournament. But the sooner these type of teams lose, the better for the mid-majors still waiting to see if they get their invite.

Also nice to see Joe Lunardi only locking in LSU and Tennessee at the moment. The best scenerio for the mids would be to see those two teams make the finals. A third team probably gets in, but let's not make a case for four by having LSU and Tennessee get upset along the way.
