              Pretty amazing that the guys who wrote that article never make any connection between Boogie and Bradley.
              It's as if he jumped straight from juco to the Trotters.

Recognizing a wealth of basketball talent at the ???‚¬??grassroots???‚¬?„? level across the United States, the Harlem Globetrotters will sponsor a Midwest Regional Talent Search, August 18-19, 2006, in Edwardsville, Ill. The camp is open to players, 18 and over whose high school eligibility has expired, seeking a unique opportunity to play professional basketball. Players from the camp who demonstrate professional playing skills will be invited to the Globetrotters???‚¬?„? training camp in Prescott, Ariz., in October.

                  ???‚¬?“The Globetrotters play many of the best teams in the world and are world-renowned for having some of the most talented athletes on the planet,???‚¬?? said team Chairman & CEO Mannie Jackson. ???‚¬?“This camp provides the opportunity to scout hundreds of prospects, as well as giving off-the-radar players the opportunity to showcase their skills in an organized setting.???‚¬??

                  The Midwest Regional Talent Search will be held at the Edwardsville YMCA Meyer Center at 7348 Goshen Road in the recently dedicated Mannie Jackson Gymnasium. Players will be run through basketball drills and participate in scrimmages. Globetrotter veterans such as 6-11 center Bruce Brown from Hampton University, 6-11 forward Kendall Dartez from Louisville, 6-3 guard Michael Lee from Kansas, 6-10 center Nate ???‚¬??Big Easy???‚¬?„? Lofton from SE Louisiana, 6-11 center Gordon Malone from West Virginia, guard Chris Sandy from Fresno St., point guard Keiron ???‚¬??Sweet Pea???‚¬?„? Shine from Memphis and 6-6 forward Corey Smith from Vanderbilt will attend the camp and assist in evaluating prospects. Each participant will pay $150 to take part in this once in a lifetime opportunity. An accomplished Globetrotter earns up to $750,000 annually with minimum salaries starting at $50,000.
