  • Wilkins "In the House"

To the many fine Bradley Students on this site.
Bradley coaches, staff, and PA. announcer, PA Paul, are severely limited in their ablilities to recognize that John Wilkens is in attendance.
I believe, John would really be impressed if, during a time out. The BU student section started a chant, "John Wilkins clap-clap".
I would hope. the rest of the fans would join in. I know many in sec 16 would!
However, I believe we should make sure that John is, in fact, in attendance and that the mighty hand of the NCAA would approve?
Personally I believe it is NOTB.

I think this is a GREAT idea John is supposed to be in attendance with the assistant coach of Southeast College in Burlington where he is attending. It might make a big impression and reinforce how passionate we are about our Braves, Ad this to a loud crowd it would be awsome

Can anyone confirm whether JW made it to the game? I thought I might have seen him in a crowd shot on the online feed, but hard to tell for sure.

Yeah he was in the front row right behind the center of the Bradley bench. He was wearing a big white hoodie.

I kept pointing him out to people and I think he looked at me and acknowledged me :P

PS he did put his hand over his heart for our anthem...in case anyone was wondering about that issue.

I didn't know it was an issue to wonder about.

I also put my hand over my heart!

Eh, I'm more of a two hands behind my back kind of guy, but it's cool that JW puts his hand over his heart.

It's not the Pledge of Allegiance, so a hand on the heart is not required. Why Paul Herzog says that it is, is really beyond me.

Before the game I saw flash introduce JW to JP it looked like they talked for a few minutes. Hopefully they hit it off & talked about a bright future for BU basketball.

Did he sway back and forth?

I also saw Andrew Warren come over before the Senior Introductions and give JW a high five.

I put my hand in JW's hand and shook it. Told him I looked forward to seeing him play @ BU. He smiled. A Kodak moment !

JohnWlkins signed close to 100 autographs at the game There were many who also came to John to wish him well. After I shook John's hand he went over to talk with Danny Adams and had a conversation. The whole situation could not have gone much better The 2OTs win and to see John clapping at the end of the game was pretty neat. And yes it was cool that John showed respect during the anthem.. that does not surprise me He is a class act and I know that personnly.
