There's also a rule in basketball that a fake flop can be called as a technical, but that's one I have NEVER seen called, ever! What part of illegal don't you understand?

I noticed the last couple of weeks watching the girls hsbb the flop was not called unless one of the players was hit pretty hard, and then it was called correctly in favor or the player being fouled. Now watching the boys hsbb they are not calling a voilation just to blow a whistle. They are letting the kids play. Is the flop just a valley kinda thing, will they eliminate it when Jim Bain leaves?

I wish they would call a charge when there really is contact and not to help bail out lazy D. I also wonder what they will do about those moving screens! It is one call that is called so differently in other conferences. I'm not saying it is wrong or right in the MVC it just seems, if the refs can blow that whistle of theirs, it will be called.
Also I notice that WVU does not set high screens but secondary screens off the ball. I was wondering with our ball handlers why do they need screens and with AW coming back I would think he will be so much more dangerous coming off of screens and getting the ball with some space then trying to dribble or shoot over a bigs outstretched arm. This would also keep our bigs from being called on yet another moving screen violation."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."
