Those TV markets are a little sketchy too. Why, for example do they conglomerate Champaign, Springfield, and Decatur? They aren't exactly close, and looking at the detail on that site it looks like there's at least two affiliates for each network there...?

I'd be just as happy with a similar arrangement with SIU. Reason for them and the other state schools from the MVC being out of my "dream" conference is because I think those guys would like to play some FBS football at some point along the way.
Unless/until the Big East splits up, and the trickle down effects that could potentially have, I don't see the MVC losing or adding any schools.

Tone Bone, all sounds reasonable to me. Incidentally, a Big East (and A10 for that matter) split is something I also feel is just over the horizon.

Heck, we can't finish higher than 4th lately. First, BU needs to become like Creighton. After that, Butler. After that, Gonzaga. After that, Memphis. In other words, the Best Team in its league year after year. None of those schools are looking elsewhere to my knowledge, so why should BU? Let's be the best team in the MVC first. We aren't close to doing that yet!

Once again we had trouble scoring and I believe some of it had to do with our substitutions, why didn"t Norris get more minutes last night as he rimmed ot his 1st 3 point shot and then made his 2nd 3 point shot, he should be getting more shots especially when Dodie was injured and McCain was shooting so poorly, I have said it before that I think our coaching staff has done a great job on both offense and defense overall considering all of our injuries but I also believe that coach Les"s biggest weakness is his in game substituions as it just does not appear he realizes who is hot on a particuliar night and should be getting more minutes and who is not having a good night and should be getting less minutes. D.Collins had his best night of his career and hopefully will continue to perform like this the rest of the season.

CR/EM didn't have the best games last night, but at least they were aggressive. The coaches need to encourage DN to be aggressive.
