  • Saturday's game vs. Drake- 7:05 pm- Senior Night, and Fan Appreciation Night

I rarely look ahead past the next game, but the final scheduled game of the season is Saturday, Feb. 28, at 7:00 pm against Drake. I wanted to get this posted early.

Make plans to try to be there, and hopefully, the students will come in large numbers.
It is being advertised as Fan Appreciation Night- all fans in attendance receive a free Bradley Basketball T-shirt for the price of admission. What a great deal, especially for the students!
Students- pass the word, and get your comrades to fill the student section!

But just as important is that it will be the final scheduled home game for the 4 seniors on the team. Please come and help the fans honor these seniors on Senior Night-

Sam Singh- who has stuck it out through all the injuries and become a key part of the team. He will be honored with his second senior night in a row!

David Collins- who has worked hard to improve and has had some very good contributions this year and last year.

Theron Wilson- who has been a warrior, and will be 1st team All-MVC.

Brian Lavin- who has given 4 years of hard work, effort, and time to this program.

    Thanks, seniors!

Saturday's game against Drake will be the final regular-season home game for four Bradley seniors: David Collins, Brian Lavin, Sam Singh and Theron Wilson. In addition to pre- and post-game ceremonies honoring the four seniors, the game has been tabbed Fan Appreciation Night and everyone in attendance will receive a free Bradley Basketball t-shirt. While tickets are no longer available through TicketMaster or at the Shea Stadium Box Office, the Boy Scouts do have a block of tickets available for purchase either by phone (309-673-6136) or at their table in the main lobby at Carver Arena Saturday night.

Bradley also has sold out its allotment of tickets for next week's State Farm MVC Tournament, but fans interested in attending the championship event may purchase tickets through the Scottrade Center (314-241-1888 ). Fans who purchased their tournament tickets through Bradley may claim their tickets at the Shea Stadium Box Office at 1523 W. Nebraska Ave. during regular business hours, Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

There may also sometimes be standing room tickets sold at the box office on the night of the game, but I don't have any confirmation of this.

A loss to UE pretty much puts the nail in the coffin for this game. Drake is a much better team this year than UE. At least we'll finish at .500

I hope they put the video stream up early so we can watch the senior night festivities If anyone has the ear of the powers that be, tell them it would be a good thing to do. This might be the last stream of the season, not sure if they are allowed to stream the tournament? When do the festivities start, an hour before the game or a 1/2 hour before the game?

The timing of the senior ceremony has varied. Usually it starts around 15 minutes before tipoff or around 6:50 pm. There will also be some speeches by the seniors after the game.

And the MVC teams do not have the rights to stream MVC tournament games. The rights belong to the MVC-TV network.

Thanks DC. I hope they keep the stream running after the game so we can watch that.

Drake is in no way better than UE this year, not even close. UE takes very good care of the ball. Give me the mullin-less Salukis Friday and I love our chances!

Perhaps I should clarify. When Drake plays Bradley, they are much better compared to UE vs Bradley.

Mullens is suppose to be re-evaluated before the tour., with the way our luck has been I say if we have SIU in the 4-5 game he plays, if the lose at home to Wichita St on sat. and play thurs night he doesn"t play.

                            Pregame notes from BradleyBraves.com--
PEORIA, Ill. ? Four Bradley seniors ? David Collins, Brian Lavin, Sam Singh and Theron Wilson -- will play their final regular-season home games Saturday night when the Braves (16-13) host Missouri Valley Conference rival Drake (17-13, 7-10 MVC) at a sold-out Carver Arena.? With a win, Bradley will finish alone in fourth-place in the league standings, but entering the game, the Braves know they are guaranteed a spot on the second quarterfinal game for the fourth and fifth seeds in next week's State Farm MVC Tournament at Scottrade Center.? Everyone in attendance Saturday night will receive a Bradley Basketball t-shirt, and although the game is officially sold out, a limited number of student tickets and a block of tickets for the Boy Scouts still remain.

                            PDF version--

                            Will Dodie play much?

Will Bradley wear the throwback jerseys one more time before they sell tomorrow night?
