So just what do you call that at the end of the game? A delayed mini court storming maybe????

Syracuse actually seats a little over 30,000. Several of there marquee conference games have been 32,000+. It's like going to an indoor football game LOL.

No they're not, they're children. Give them rules and structure and dont let them dare do anything that is not proper!

Storming
BU never has enough students at the game to ever do an effective "storming" of the court. Plus, the gray hairs and fossils who sit close would be so upset by such a spectacle that all the students involved would be expelled and the student section eliminated.

Originally posted by bluedevils1 View PostFor the MSU game, there were enough. And I know many of the students were getting ready. And others might have followed. For most people, that is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It doesn't hurt anyone. We don't care about the consequences - we get so emotionally attached and that would just top it off. Hopefully we get that opportunity with a big opponent, a bunch of students, and a win in the future.

I would have done it. Well... wait, from row 18 it might have been a controlled decent to the floor, but I'd've tried to get down there.

Brilliant observation. And which of your parents was it who must have hated you so?

Most of us old fossils would be happy to see a win big enough again to see the students storm the court. But let's get real, when there are 11,000 fans at a game and only maybe 1000 are students and the rest are old fossils who keep the program going, would it be called storming the court if just the students did the storming. What part of illegal don't you understand?
