Hey, I ran across this....
it's just a little blurb in an article that wasn't even about sports....but it says.....(about University of Illinois Urbana campus)
...it seems to let slip a little info that appears somewhat dam*ning as far as NCAA violations are concerned...
"Alumni donated funding for some extras, like basketball shoes
for a student who wants to play on the team..."
isn't this a clear NCAA violation??
Didn't some schools get hammered just for buying a kid a hamburger or for taking him to dinner at Mt. Hawley?
Does anyone know how or why this wouldn't be an NCAA violation??
