am I saying something wrong/stupid? I'm asking honestly not like a smart***
Bradleyguy10 you appeared to be agreeing with BradleyBrave and he didn't understand my definition of consideration. I am not all knowing all saying, I am simply giving my opinion of the importance of a win at UE. I would be surpurised if any team other than CU gets a NCAA bid. So, therefore you and I are on the same page. Sorry for any confusion...

This may have already be discussed...but if ISU loses the next 2 and we win the next 2, where are we with the tiebreaker? Does Bradley still have a mathematical chance at 3rd place?
If you build it, the students will come.

Bradley could still finish in a tie for 3rd. But, Bradley loses the tiebreaker with ISU. 4th is the best BU can do for seeding in the MVCT.

I could be wrong DC, but if a team ties for 1st but doesn't get the #1 seeding in their conference tournament based on tie-breakers.... then that team does not qualify as a Conference League winner not winning the Auto Bid .... therefore, UNI would not get the guaranteed NIT bid. I could be wrong on that, but I coulda sworn I saw that somewhere. Now... UNI could still get a bid. It just won't be a guaranteed one.

You could be right. This is the wording from a release by the NCAA--

All teams that won regular-season conference championships but failed to earn NCAA tournament bids are guaranteed places in the NIT.

It doesn't quite clarify if that includes co-winners who were not #1 seeds. But it doesn't specifically exclude them, either.

Bradley's game at Evansville Wednesday will be Senior Night for the Aces.
Jason Holsinger, Shy Ely and Nate Garner will be playing their final regular season home games at Roberts Stadium.
Shy Ely, Jason Holsinger and Nate Garner play their final regular season game at Roberts Stadium Wednesday in a game that could go a long way in determining whether the Purple Aces finish in the top half of the Missouri Valley Conference. Fifth place UE (16-11, 7-9) hosts fourth place Bradley (16-12, 9-7) at 7:05 CST.

This could be a bad example, but last year Stephen F Austin and Lamar both finished at 13-3 in the Southland. UT-Arlington won the Conference Tourney. Stephen F Austin went to the NIT. Lamar did not. In their Conference Tourney, Stephen F Austin was the 1 seed, Lamar was the 2 seed, and UT-Arlington was the 7 seed.

I agree but if we play like we did against Loyola we win by at least 5.

Evansville fans finally have a message board-

Here is their thread about the BU-Evansville game--

It is the final home game for their seniors, which includes 4-year players Jason Holsinger and Shy Ely.
Holsinger and Ely are one-two among active Valley players in career scoring with 1,399 and 1,326 points, respectively. And they were recruited to Evansville by the previous coach, Steve Merfeld. A couple of their fans' posts say nice things about Merf, but a couple of the posts are just juvenile.

What is the latest on Dodie Dunson? The last thing we need is another freak injury to a starter, and I am fearing the worst here.

                            It defaults to the one-seed.

Well, that's what I thought I had seen somewhere.... but I didn't have a link or quote to prove it. So I provided an example. I coulda sworn I saw somewhere that the NIT relies on each Conference's Tie-breaker system providing their #1 seed as the recipient of the Auto-NIT bid if they don't win the Conference tourney (for the auto-NCAA bid).

The news is not good on Dodie's hand.
