    Final score BU- 86 Loyola-75

As good as our D was in the first half, it was that bad in the 2nd. We had some really bad and sloppy play on D. Didn't really finish the 1st half well and got lucky that they couldn't get over the hump. Our fts down the stretch left alot to be desired! TW and DD missing a boat load of them. Was really pleased with CR and SM play today.

BUT, another win and a road win. Come home and get ready to finish the reg. season.
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.

Well a wins a win I guess. Anyone see why Theron didn't start? This just might be the team that we see the rest of the way. Attempt to outshoot your opponent with very little D. Much like D'Antoni's offense now with the Knicks. So far it appears to be working LOL.

just glad to get out of there with a W'......we were hot on 3's in the 1st half and didn't hit too many on the 2nd ......again a game with nothing-inside on the post on either end....we need to get SS back on track (at least DC hits his FTs)....CR had a nice game along with SM

I think BU played decent 2nd half defense, but Loyola threw up a lot of well-defended shots and either got a call or they went in...

It is tough to win on the road or have you guys not noticed lately....maybe ask UNI or ISU..
give our guys some credit...we start two freshmen and overall a starting five with just two years of experince under their belts..
I think this was a solid win on the road against team that just knocked off Butler.

Some of the calls like the foul on Maniscalco that ended up hurting us a ton as Maniscalco was hampered the entire final 10 minutes with foul trouble, and some of the ridiculous charging calls were the kind of stuff that commonly causes teams to fold on the road.
Our guys hung tough.....great win BU and nice game for Sam Maniscalco!!

Well at least we are starting to have an offensive identity now, and Chris Roberts is definitely figuring out his role. Darian Norris, who I wanted to play more, comes off the bench and gives a spark from the 3 pt line. But our big guys are terrible at times. In the second half, like 90% of our points were off of FTs and we looked more like the poor offensive team we have seen for most of the year.

The defense was iffy. That won't do. We need that same offense and better defense - we have been letting teams get hot against us and start 2nd half streaks. If that stays the same, we will lose early in St. Louis.

When those 5 fts missed come down the stretch, yeah they do.

Yeah, I forgot about how much the fouls changed the 2nd half. As usual, the 2nd half was decided more by the refs than the players and it got us out of rhythm.

I will give DD a pass on his last 2 trips to the FT line....seems he hurt his right hand before the FTs so at least in my book he gets a pass!

We won. In the "house of horrors" - right? We won. I'm done with this game. We need to move on. Back to the MVC. FOCUS!

I thought Maniscalco had a very good game. As did our high-flyers. Don't know why DC was not in the game in the last two minutes when he was perfect from the line and we've got a 6-3 trying to rebound a missed opponents free throw that goes over his head and at the same time bricking his own free throws. I hope JL is looking closely at production in these last few games and pares some minutes back and extends others when the MVCT starts. Good win

we took their best hit on their home floor, we settled down and maintained pretty much a double digit lead the rest of the game, matching them every time they tried to make a run...
I am happy with Bradley's performance today, and I guess a little surprised by the negativity.
But...now having pointed out the negativity, I am sure it'll get some all riled up...

I am happy about the win. Anytime you can win on the road it is a very good thing.

I am a coach and I guess I look at games like I do the ones I coach. Just because someone posts something a little negative, dont understand why that is a terrible or horrible thing. I saw things that did not excite me or make me happy. I posted my opinion. I would bet that the BU coaches also saw things that did not make them happy and I am sure they will address those.

Agree with MM, this one is in the bag and it is now back to the MVC and the tourney!

                              GO BU!!
