This weather system moving in has changed my plans. I am driving up this afternoon to beat the snow, and staying an extra night up in Chicago. I hope everyone has a safe trip!

They are now predicting 6-10" by the lake and north side. It would be better to stay home if you are driving up from Peoria Saturday.

I was going to go to the game, but I don't think I even want to make the 12 mile trip from the northwest suburbs in this kind of snow! I will probably watch from the comfort of my own home unless things change for the better, which probably won't happen since they are now predicting the worst of the snow for the early afternoon.

And it's on here in Chicago on the northwest Indiana PBS station. They locally broadcast several Loyola, UIC and Valparaiso games each year. Also a few Big East games via ESPN 360 and even a couple of Lewis University games (D-III school from Romeoville). So that's pretty cool if you can tolerate the so-so announcers.

I am in Chicago, and it was predicted that the snow would start this evening, but it's clear here. In fact, the snow is still out in Iowa and is slow moving this way. Now not expected to start until early morning.

For those planning to drive up to Chicago today- there are around 2 inches of new snow downtown, and a slightly more to the north, with a little bit more to come. But the Interstate roads city streets are good because the storm was expected. Also, because it's a weekend, and there have been storm warnings here for several day, the traffic is minimal.

It's also on ChannelSurfing.net. None of the internet providers carry ESPN360 when I am away from home. Apparently only Bradley internet does the job.

One of it's few redeeming qualities.

this broadcast is a joke, not to mention the high school gym we're playing at tonight. Hopefully we can get a road win at the genital center

The LPT broadcast? I think it's actually pretty good, especially compared to ours...
