I'll give MS props for this....he was told he would be a 4 when he came here and hadn't played center since high school...so for playing out of position for a couple years KUDOS to Matt!

Rumor is that Leon will have some difficulty graduating from his Junior College, and most believe his college career will continue in Division II.

If Bradley does get him, he is an excellent player.

A big, strong, inside physical guy would fit well with this team. Egolf is the only post player on the roster with "experience" next season. If the Powell kid would come in next year I would be all for it.

It sounds like Milos is more of an outside/in guy, same with Egolf. And John Wilkins is a huge question mark. Getting a JUCO guy with some attitude would be nice. I didn't dislike Matt Salley as much as some. He had his faults but he did defend, rebound, and provide some interior toughness.

Well...JW will not be here next year. When he comes it will be in the '10-'11 season after he gets his degree from JUCO.

Also I think some have a misinterpretation of this guy. He's not a big guy that plays down low like a center. He's like a TW where he stays out on the perimeter and drives or is a wing man.

I say if the coaches are completely confident in the 5 spot for next season then get Powell because TB isn't QUITE the same as TW and it'd be nice to get someone that can do what Theron does. If they aren't confident in WE, AT or the freshman coming in then they need a 5 player from JUCO.

A sharp shooter is needed though no one doubts that.

Da Coach, does the shooting guard you're referring to have a name or possible names?

I do not know who it is, and don't have a name presently.
It also is not some inside scoop. It is just my feeling that a SG is what the coaches want with the next scholarship.

I have heard he is actually 5'9", but he plays bigger.

I hope you are joking about getting another 6-0 or smaller guard , we have plenty of them now.

Powell would be a good player to have but if he is not getting good grades in jr. college then it would be hard to keep him elgible at BU.

                              Let's hope so, right haha

How bout one who's 6'9 and supposedly can play some sweet guard play. And then confuse defenses by yelling in french?

I say thats our key for JW. All plays are called in French. Just to throw people off
