It's getting to that point in the season when valley point totals help break tiebreakers using the 20 for road win against 1st place, 19 for a home.etc Does anybody have the current point standings?

Here's what I come up with...there could be big changes though as so many teams are so close in the standings that the standings may change significantly over the final few games. Evansville and SIU look to be in bad tiebreaker shape. Wichita State is golden if it comes to points, as are the Sycamores. A Drake win tonight puts them in a good position as well. If UNI and Creighton tie at 14-4 (with UNI losing to ISU), and the rest of the league standings stay as is, I have UNI winning the tiebreaker over Creighton by just 1 point. Thus any change at all in the current standings could totally change that. We likely lose a tiebreaker for 3rd with ISU. Possible points remaining are in parenthesis.
Northern Iowa - 108 (34)
Creighton - 97 (28 )
Illinois State - 74 (56)
Bradley - 63 (20)
Wichita State - 74 (25)
Evansville - 39 (51)
Drake - 52 (54)
Southern Illinois - 43 (22)
Indiana State - 60 (21)
Missouri State - 29 (36)

If Illinois State wins again, we can't win the tiebreaker I don't think. If we win at UE and lose at home to Drake and we both finish 10-8, then we MIGHT win the tiebreaker. Our best shot at 3rd is winning out, with them losing out. I don't want 3rd unless Creighton gets 1st.

There's no shot at an at-large, so we have to win out obviously. So, it won't matter in terms of one more win or something. I actually like that scenario.Onward and Upward!

You may be correct that they have no reason to lose to us in Omaha, but it has happened before (last year).Originally posted by cpacmel View PostIn the last 4 years, ISU has won in Omaha TWICE.
Good luck to your Birds fellas... but sorry, I am rooting for Creighton cause I think they could have a better At-Large Portfolio than ISU.
