If you dropout or flunk out of home schooling, does that mean you have to find somewhere else to live??
People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...

Why is the race cards ugly head sticking out on this issue. This is not 1970s again where busing was a major issue and parents did what they thought was best for their children right or wrong. Parents more often then not send their kids to private schools because the local public school does not offer the environment that they feel their kids need to get ahead in life. There are those boarding schools that are different, which are more about elitist social networking. Can you blame them for wanting the best for their kids. The arguments condemning private education seem to come from an insecurity. The private school I went to in the 70s and 80s and it is still the same now, is a school where over 50% of its student are minority. The real difference between a private school and public school is thta the parents of a private school has much higher expectations and participate much much more in the process. When you give anything for free expectations are always diminshed.

Race card? I'm still trying to figure out what the public school vs. private school debate has anything to do with two Limestone kids being ruled ineligible. I was under the impression that once a thread gets away from the topic, then it's "taken care of" by the mods. Maybe I'm just missing something, but I really don't see what this has to do with Limestone.

What's wrong with sending your kids to a school where they can walk the halls without saying "hi" to a police officer?
What part of illegal don't you understand?
