Hopefully he doesn't have to play inside. I just hope he can go in and get some rebounds as a complement to whoever is playing at the 5. Maybe they will be able to develop AT more over the summer so we could go with a more traditional lineup of 2 guards 2 forwards and a center next year. Then we could show more diversity by going with three gaurds on occasion and catch teams by suprise.

I would even go for a juco 5 to help settle things out next season.....JP is a freshman, AT has no-game experience, and WE is coming off major knee surgery and who knows how ling before he feels 100% confident in the knee? Help might be good!

We tried getting the ball inside, so it was not for lack of effort. We just could not shoot worth a darn from there.

The good news is FT's where respectable, and our three point shooting was good for at least one half. Maybe we tried too many inside shots in the second half. Sometimes a hot shooting three point team is what is needed to win a game like this.

Well, I have to say this is about the best I've ever felt about a loss. Too bad Bradley played so poorly in the first few minutes of the game, but they showed a ton of resiliency and we saw nice games out of CR and DN. CR, especially, played a good game. All over the place on D and looked much much more confident on offense.

I also think that was about the best reffed MVC game I've seen all year. Refs called a good one, and I never once came close to blowing out a valve somewhere.

I'm tired of losing, and I'm tired of losing to Creighton, but if we play the rest of our games like we played this one, we should be able to close out the season 5-0 and 11-7 in the MVC.

I feel the same way. Bradley should be congratulated for a great effort. I just would like to win one of these types of games for a change. We are probably about 7 or 8 points away from being 10-4 or at least 9-5 had we been able to get one of those UNI games and maybe a CU or ISU win. But it is what it is, and that should not change things much in St. Louis where anyone in the league can win this tournament this year.

Unless we win out though, I think our NIT chances are slim, but we probably get a few CBI home games for our consolation prize.

Well I hate to knock a player when he is down, but what you see in DC is what you get. God bless him. He tries hard every night, but I just don't think he is cut out for this level of play. Obviously him getting his degree is more important than how good a ball player he is, so I'm sure he will have a good life after graduation.

SS has improved big time this year, but again, he is not an impact player either. For as many good contributions he has given this team, he commits as many critical mistakes. He has definately helped this team more than hurt them, but this is as good as will get. Again for those who will not be playing pro ball, the value of a Bradley degree is invaluable, and he will do well in life as well.

AT is a mystery here. A lot of people are asking that he get more playing time, but something is obviously not gelling with him. I'm hoping someone can get more info on just what is going on with him. He is obviously not grasping the system in practice or he is not the player that people touted him as. Maybe he makes a big jump next year, but he is obviously not ready yet. More playing time wouldn't hurt, but this team is still trying to win some games and make a postseason run. Therefore, I'm not counting on seeing him that much the rest of this year.

We'll win at least four of the five. Evanville at their place may be the loss, but it is not impossible to beat this team.

And like I said on the chat, if we lose in front of 800 people (500 who will be Bradley fans) at Loyola, a team who is just plain awful, that would be the lowest point we have had in awhile.

That said, I hope I did not jinx Bradley!

I might even go to that game since it is in my area, but hopefully we will be on a two game winning streak at that time.

I missed the game. Eddren's minutes look low (18 min) although his stat line does not look horrible (not great but not a lot of T/O's). Any reason for only getting 18 mins.

Darrian Norris probably had his best game in a month or so and got some of Eddren's minutes.

I wasn't expecting Bradley to win this game, so I'm not sure what to make of this game. There were some good points, but obviously some bad ones. If they can play like this at home, they should take care of business.

I've said it before, we are getting every ounce of basketball we can out of those guys. David is 7 foot tall, that is why he is on the team. Sam is a good guy and a hard worker, with a very limited game. AT, I have no idea.

That about sums it up....are lack of anything effective inside on O and D is killing us.

I'll give my 2 cents for what it's worth

I'm not happy with the substitution patterns last night. I'm not going to name names but we got two players that start out hot and one of them doesn't see any minutes in the last 10 minutes of the game while one who he could have substitued for was throwing up bricks for 10 minutes.

Also, are we not in shape??? Why does a player who starts off hot get pulled after 5 minutes or so? My thought process is that you leave the hot shooter(s) in.

My thought process for the MVCT is to go with a 7-8 man rotation and just let them play rather than taking one of the players out every 3-5 minutes - how do you get a flow of game going playing that way.

Just my thoughts, for what they are worth.

Did anyone on CU play for over 5 min at a time?
