see the word selfish mentioned here...but it doesn't fit....Theron is a team player and his frustration was not based on him...there were many frustrating calls....DC's fouls in the 1st half were just shy of ridiculus(sp)......twice he was called for something the other player initiated.....thinking the frustration for TW was team wide.....not just his foul or lack thereof

Because he looks for a confrontation. He is like a baseball umpire who stares down a guy after a 3rd strike call. Draucker wants you to challenge him. I think he enjoys giving a guy a T, just sometimes because he can.

Frustration and venting frustration are two different things. Yes the whole team was frustrated, but why was TW the only one that reacted like that and got a T?

I love Theron as a player and I didn't think there was anything different with that foul than what wasn't being called at the other end, but that reaction was unnecessary.

I agree it was not something he should have done...he would even tell you that....

but the act itself wasn't due to him being selfish...I guess I don't get it.....he has pretty much shown me he is a team guy first....

I'm not saying he's "not a team player." I'm just saying that he did one selfish thing. Good people make mistakes, too. The only reason I brought it up is because it was out of the ordinary for him.

He usually only let's his emotions help the team, but that one cost the team 2 FT's and him being on the bench the rest of the game. It was selfish because he "chose" to do what he did at the expense of his team (a team that wouldn't be close to where it is now w/o him, but that's not the point).
