I say apologizing for the "steak shot" did it. We are back playing to make other teams feel better, giving other teams confidence they did not know they had.. -
God I hope not! A win at Drake would have put us right back into NIT contention, and more importantly would have kept us in the race for second place. If playing for seeding in St. Louis is not enough to inspire the team, then I say shame on them!
I didn't detect that they were moping around out there, but they played a sloppy game tonight, no question about it. Give a lot of credit to Drake though. Not the greatest game for them either, but their tough defense held serve tonight.Comment

And when you put players like that in a slower paced half-court situation you get bad offense. Next year should be different.
