After that final, winning dagger of a 3 went down, I started laughing, then I started cursing. I pretty much repeated that sequence the rest of the night until I went to bed. I'm just glad it didn't resume upon waking up this morning.
I DONT think Jim Les should be fired but hypotheticly speaking if we had a coaching vancancy I would be very happy to fill it with Bob Knight. First he has 900 wins and even if you hate him, their no denying his record and that he is one of the best coaches of all time. Second it would bring almost daily national attention to BU not just basketball but the entire campus and community would get more attention. I understand thier would be some risk in taking a coach like Knight but if we had a vancancy right now I would take him in a second and every fan I know would too.

When #5 came in with two points and made his first 3 pointer at around 3 or 4 minutes left. I called it to my friends. I said they are ONLY going to take 3's the rest of the game and we're probably going to lose because we'll try to run down the shot clock and not score anymore points. That last 3 was just icing on the cake...I just went numb

I stared at the court in an alcohol induced depression until my girlfriend basically pushed me over and told me we had to leave....
Bradley Basketball... One Tradition; Underachievement. 2008-Current.
I was the exact opposite I stared as well...didn't even look at our last desperation shot. I was looking at nothing and once I heard the horn I took off. I couldn't be in that arena any second longer then I had to be haha. I needed out before I screamed at everyone. I was walking but I felt like I was floating haha
In my view, anything other than the NCAA tournament is a losers tournament. That being said, the CBI is more fun and although the quality of teams may be lesser than the NIT, the games(at least last year) were far more entertaining to watch. If we don't win the tourney in St Lou, I'm more than happy accepting CBI or even the new CTI if it means more home games and expereince for our players. The NIT does nothing for me in terms of "showing improvement" as some have stated in this thread. It's still another Not Invited Tournament, so who cares which not invited one you go to.

Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
