With the exception of a few plays, DC seemed to sleep through another game... I watched him as closely as I could the whole game and he seemed to be a member of the viewing audience instead of a player on the court. Time and time again he watched plays happen right in front of him, over him, and around him. I'm sure he is a great kid, and I wish him the best for his future, but he has to get involved in the game. If anyone disagrees, find someone who recorded the game and watch it again. It is painful to watch a 7 footer with physical ability use about 1/4th of it. I love you DC, but get aggressive and even mad if you have to. Watch the "Waterboy" or something.

DC had his share of missed bunnies and lost defensive assignments.....but I think SS had just as bad of game....it wouldn't have bothered me if they gave TB(only 4 minutes) some of their minutes when they both are working on fouling out!

Our best center in history, IMHO, was 6-6. It would not hurt us to play TB at the 5 a little more for the rest of this year and we would be a quicker team.

There is not a post on this thread that I disagree with. We were also pleading for TB to play the 5 today because both DC and SS were not at their best to put it mildly. I usually would like us to play big but when you are getting zero production and getting out played then there needs to be some changes. I'm disapointed because they are seniors and there should be some consistancy from them. We still need them to step up to their potential by March and there is some time left. I am hopeful!

Who are you referring to (I have an idea)? Would he have similar initials as my 5 year old son J.A.? Big Mike Davis was 6'8", right? Or, Robert Jenkins was 6'6"... I would take him any day. Theron Wilson reminds me a bit of a Robert Jenkins. Talk about jumping out of the gym! For you young guys, you missed a real leaper in Jenkins.

I'm talking about your great kid, J.A. The one player that could really jump out of the gym was Wille Betts, he played with Joe Allen, the hype was he could pick a penny off the top of the backboard - I'm not sure that was hype My years at Bradley were really fun

The games that we have lost in the Valley is because the opposing teams centers outscored BU"s by at least 15 points , D.C. missed a lot of 3 ft. shots and was lost defensively and not in position to rebound most of the afternoon, I think T.Brown and T.Wilson should be playing at the same time more as they both rebound and score better then David. I don"t enjoy saying bad things about one of our players but it is so frustrating to watch a senior not play up to his potential.

I got one for SS and DC. Where the hell were you guys today DC if you can't show anymore emotion or get up for a game than you did today again, Stay home and play Donkey Kong And SS if you can't put any more effort in to a game then what you did today, you to can stay home with DC and try to bet him at DK. Great game and effort by DD,SM and TW
There is no team in the the MVC that can match up to us the whole game, if our bigs come to play! BU will win the the MVC this year!

I agree. T. Brown would give us more activity around the basket. I too also do not like saying bad things about our players, but I also do not like giving bad grades to good people who take my classes, but I still have to from time to time (although I don't talk about it publically). It never gives me pleasure by saying bad things about players, but this is a winnable league and the last two road games could have been wins with more inside play. A combination of Sam's desire, awareness, and strength with DC's size and athletic abiity would be perfect, but since one cannot fuze two people into one we will have to live with the way they are. One more adjustment this year Coach Les, MORE T. BROWN and TW at the same time.

                      Agreed...they played poorly.

But i think the last thing we should be doing is criticizing Singh's intensity.

He shows more heart than some guys combined. I have yet to see him not play balls to the walls.

DC is another story. He was napping on the D. A few times teh ball hit him with his hands down.

They were just off tonight...I think les will have some choice words for him...and theron too hopefully...and they'll bounce back nicely. I know they can because they have done so in recent games.

Jay: She's my daughter, you're my wife. Let's remember what's important, there's a football game on today

I know you guys think it wouldn't be worse with TB instead of SS or DC but I don't know that it would be that much better.TB would have a hard time guarding post players IMO...He makes some exciting plays from time to time and that's what we see but when players play more minutes their faults become more exposed as well.

DC comes from Canada...I don't think he has alot of great basketball instincts. I think we sometimes mistake lack of intensity and desire for poor skills or instinct. He gets lost at times and when he gets the ball appears nervous.....his 8 foot 60 MPH hook shot was a great ex. Had he looked to the wing he had a wide open guard to throw it to....

He also got triple teamed once and again tried to shoot vs finding a wide open player and kick it back out. OUCH.

I will NEVER question Sams heart....players have bad games. He didn't have his best for sure. Lets all hope home cookin turns em both around. Tuesday is HUGE.

                            Thats the problem...HE WON'T

Collins will be right back out there starting on Tuesday because he still thinks he's the best option and because well, we really don't have much left.
