can you list all the 6-2 or 6-3 shooting guards from midmajors that went pro after their sophomore or junior year?
You may laugh but there's a better chance of them both leaving than them both staying...

Eldridge only planned on staying 2 years at ISU and P. Allen will undoubtedly leave because of the fallout from this year with Altman...I just don't see him playing another year there given what has transpired this season...

O's only downside is that he hasn't yet proven he's capable of handling the ball if he needs to move over to the point.

Besides, look at the class so far...nothing special at all out there when you consider everyone...there will be plenty of talent wanting to come out early because of that....why would these two be any different?

This is ISU's best year to compete losing 2 of their top players...why would Osiris stay next season with a lesser team?!

It just makes a whole lot more sense to go out....besides, could he do any worse in the NBA than Pat who seems to be collecting a check on the basis of being 7 feet tall...

No way they leave for the NBA. I believe one player has left the MVC early for the NBA-POB. Could they do worse than POB ? Yes, they won't be lottery picks and therefore won't get the check POB will. O is an outstanding player and I would like him to leave because I would prefer not to play him after this year, but it is not gonna happen. They need to stay and keep getting better. P'allen is not even close to being ready or good enough-maybe he gets there but he isn't there yet.

If O is thinking of jumping early to the NBA they should have him sit down for a few minutes with Rico Hill and see how leaving early worked out for him.

Since '98 he has really done nothing but bounce around in every league other then the one he left early for.

To clarify, you can think of it any way you want, but there is officially a simple 3-way tie for 2nd place right now.
BU, ISU, and CU are all tied for 2nd, 3 games behind UNI. Tiebreakers do not apply.
The MVC tiebreaker formula does not come into play until all 18 league games are complete, and then it's only used to arrange seeding for the tournament. It does not break ties in the final conference standings.
And it does not break ties at this point of the season, before all games are played, and award 2nd place to ISU, 3rd place to Creighton, and 4th place to Bradley. They are all currently tied for 2nd.
If you look back at past seasons where teams finished tied for 1st place, despite the tiebreaker formula being used for tournament seeding, the 1st place teams are still considered co-champions.
Call it what you want, yep. If the season ends today we are the 4 seed in the MVC tournament. And that actually deals not with the tiebreaker points but with the mini round robin format. Bradley holds a 1-2 record against CU and ISU. CU is 1-1 and Illinois State is 2-1, which puts us third in the pecking order.

The RPI is "meaningless" until the end of the season too, but people look at it as a tool of evaluation throughout the year. The same can be said now that we've played more than half of the conference games. Not an evaluation of anything other than the facts of where we sit at 11:30 a.m. on 2/3. Anything can happen in the last month, that's not the point.

If it makes you feel better, we are currently the conference co-runner-up with ISU and Creighton. Woo hoo!
          Go Braves!

That's exactly how I was reading your original post as well.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

And no matter what the tiebreaker system shows if it used in the middle of a season, Bradley is not in 4th place right now. That is all I am saying. They are tied for 2nd.
