Did anyone else feel like we should have went for a three and the win instead of Maniscalco driving to the basket for a tie? I kept thinking about Rob Dye's three to win at Redbird and I envisioned Sammy doing that for the past few days.
I found it very interesting to listen to the ISU postgame on our way to dinner. Champ Ogucci commented on how if his back would have been better in Peoria it probably would have been a different story. Highly unlikely IMO. He didn't seem to do that much today. After ISU's play by play gave kudos to Theron Wilson, ol' Champ said, "He creates a lot of problems for most teams in our league, but I did a great job on him." Nothing beats giving yourself props when your man scores 17 and pulls down 9 rebounds. Oh yeah, and he referred to BU as "The Bradley".Go small or go home!

Great game today. Very good effort by both teams for 40 mins. Intense, emotional, loud game that came down to the wire---just how the War on 74 should be. I thought both teams left it all on the floor today. My heart skipped quite a few beats down the stretch, but that's par for the course in a game like this. Each of us won at home again this year, not surprising. Also hats off to the strong and noisy contingent of BU fans that made the trip today, you guys definately made your presence known on more than a couple occasions.
Great college basketball game for sure, and it's games like that which prove beyond any doubt that BU/ISU is the best rivalry in the Valley bar none, and one of the best in college basketball, especially when both teams are successful & fighting at the top of the league. 2 games each decided by 4 points. If we meetup in STL for round 3, that will just be insane.

My hat is off to the ISU fans as I was very pleased that they cleaned their act up, all but the paper plane act.
As for the game it was a very hard fought one, with great effort from SM, DD and TW. As for SS, CR and DC where were you guys I never seen so many back door dunks I thought back doors were ment other thingsThere is no team in the the MVC that can match up to us the whole game, if our bigs come to play! BU will win the the MVC this year!

However a win is a win, my hats off to ISU. I'm only commenting on this issue b/c I'm quite unhappy with the result of a certain football game tonight, and am in the mood to argue.
