yea but with ryan phillips, BU always likes to take one local kid per year (at least one, and he was only one that year he walked on) If they didnt take one local boy per year he probably would not be on the team

Hopefully if any coaches or scouts are on hand, they will take notice ofParis Gulley and offer him a scholarship.

i agree about gulley. if people in this thread are arguing for molinari to be a BU recruit, then gulley should be a top priority!

I don't think anyone here has argued for BU to recruit either of those kids.

Billy Molinari goes to the same school as my kids, so I have all the yearbooks all the way back....
Billy started in Pre-K in 1995-1996 and kindergarten in 1996-1997.
He is pictured in those school yearbooks and I can show then to you if you want to see the proof.
His classmates even at that time included Luke Knapp, Ben Bordeaux, Jake Winkler, and all the other kids who have been in his class at school for 13 continuous years.
...and of course my daughter - ALL of whom are presently high school seniors and who have NEVER been held back.
That class (Class of 2009) also includes even Justin and Jordan Parr who are presently playing basketball as seniors at IVC.
Billy may be a bit older than some kids in his class but he is also younger than some and was NOT held back.
If he was, I challenge heybballfans to tell me which year he was held back, because if he were, he'd be a junior this year, since he was in pre-k in 1995-96 and kindergarten in 1996-97.

Some parents will wait an extra year if their kid just misses the cut off.

I bet Mo red shirted him before kindergarten.....

i NEVER said he was held back as in he is dumb. he is a smart kid porbably (like father like son). i said he is a year older! and he is!!!!!!! check the facts. He should be one grade above. ask anybody at that school to ask him. ask your daughter tornado. his parents seem to start their kids schooling one year later than the "normal" kid. so all his kids are one year older than their grade!!!!!

check facts please. i know this is true

not sure what your problem is......but it shouldn't bother you all that much....doesn't bother anyone else that I have heard.....even discussing this on a public message board is amazing....I know some Freshman and sophmores dominating this season....age is not that big an issue period.....

i never said it bothered me. Im just telling facts and now im arguing he is because other posters said not true. I have no problem with it at all. I would never blame parents on decisions how to raise kids as long as kids arent harmed in any way. I was jsut saying it makes a difference as older kids tend to have had more practice time and therefore better. The same player usually gets better with more practice which is exactly what a year is. more time to get physically mature and better skilled.

I don't understand what the "argument" is about here. So excuse me as I make myself comfortable at the corner table in the back sipping a pint.
