      Saturday will be huge.

You don't want to fall into that mess in the middle of the standings. With some MSU help this week, we may be able to form a nice 2-man breakaway at the top.

I say we end this streak just like we ended that other one of theirs.

Saturday treat: UNI loses at InSU, Bradley beats isu, then a chance for redemption Tuesday at a packed house. That would be our biggest game of the year so far. Either way, it still is huge.

If we go 3-1 in the rest of our home games and 2-2 on the road, that will put us at 12-6. It sounds plausible to me. That would be good enough for 2nd in the Valley IMO.

MSU should be an easy win at home, and Evansville has shown its true colors recently on the road. And UNI or Drake could easily come into Carver and lose with huge crowds watching.

And we can definitely win at isu if we play really good defense. And Drake and Creighton aren't as good as we think they are. Evansville is not great but will play decent against us at their place.

I don't think we will finish strong enough to finish first with this tough slate of games, but 2nd would be really nice.

These next four games will basically be the season definer for us. Three road games @ isu, Creighton, and Drake are all the teams right behind us. With one home game against the team right above us. These next four games ARE IT. This determines where we are when it comes to Arch Madness. We can go 3-1 and if we do I think we have a real shot at 1st place we go 2-2 I think we have a fight on our hands for 2nd/3rd place. Anything less than that...well it's anywhere between 3rd and 5th place.

                That's why I propose we go 4-0!

prediction time: BU goes 4-0 in their next 4 games

If Bradley can go 2-2 in it's next 4 games, then I think there is a chance to finish off the conference season with 4 straight wins to finish 13-5. I don't see us finishing any better than that, so it's going to take a lot of losing by UNI to catch them. I think we are probably looking at 2nd or 3rd.

It would certainly make for one heck of a storyline.

Anyone know why ISU/bu is never on MVC TV? Or maybe it has been recently and I just don't recall? I haven't missed a game live in 6 years anyway... but it just seems weird that they would never televise the biggest rivalry in the conference

Good call on that...I can't recall the rivalry being on TV in a good 5-7 years...maybe more.

Actually, BU/ISU would be a good get for ESPN's "Rivalry Week"

No one cares outside of central Illinois, that's probably why. It's guaranteed to be on the local TV so they probably decide that the matchup isn't best available in terms of ratings. Probably why ESPN wouldn't touch it either - they used Creighton/SIU once for Rivalry week, but they had some form of national recognition then.

Actually, that game has been on rivalry week for about five years now. Its also part of rivalry week again this year I believe...
