No one cares outside of central Illinois, that's probably why. It's guaranteed to be on the local TV so they probably decide that the matchup isn't best available in terms of ratings. Probably why ESPN wouldn't touch it either - they used Creighton/SIU once for Rivalry week, but they had some form of national recognition then.

I bet it would get better ratings then the 2 games they have scheduled on MVC TV... but th point about local TV does make sense...
