The guy is 802-171, 10 state titles, but a school audit found he had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars of school money on unauthorized items. I'm curious, how does a school district (especially one in a major city that already has budget problems) even have that kind of money to spend?

But this guy, the superintendant of schools, is on thew hot seat and may be the next to go. The problems apparently run very deep and a strongly political, and even the mayor chimes in. (The mayor presides over the city and does not govern the school district, the elected board does.)

They just hired Anthony Bonner, who was teammate for THREE YEARS with Jim Les on Sacramento from 1991-1994.
Bonner is an alum of both Vashon and St. Louis U.
