At last year's game there, there was a small group (8-10) seated at the right corner (end zone) of the court from the BU fans. All game they would make their vulgar chants and show their middle finger juster at us. All it did is make me think and have night meres of these Moreno's, some how, getting a degree and becoming teacher's to our kids.
Lord Have Mercy We do have places in society for these kind and they can get 3 squares a day, FREE
Good thing those classless and clueless fans can't figure out how to type on message boards.
I've been saying for years, a Division 1 team with division 3 fans.
Chico, you have just insulted all the great Division 3 fans.
From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-
"Yes, the Braves are better than they were when the season started two months ago. By a light year or two, they??™re better."
And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."
He's in no hot water with me...I agree with him. It's not my fav chant at all and I wouldn't be upset if it stopped. The cheer in its original form has been around for many years. It wasn't really an issue until some morons (NOT the whole student section, just random people) would start yelling "d**k" at the end of it. This forced the band/cheerleaders to no longer start the cheer, which they still don't. It's only done by the students now. The cheerleaders were supposed to come up with a replacement cheer, but they haven't done so.
ISU fans as a whole = Bush League. I think they are easily the rudest fans down in St. Louis and they just embarrass themselves when BU comes to town. I would be absolutely outraged if I ever saw a BU fan act like most ILSU fans do...

You might not want to go to a BU soccer game then.
Its been better lately...but there are still a few of OUR students who think its funny to yell "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, YOU S*** A**HOLE" when the opposing team has a goal kick.
Cheerleaders and respectable members of the crowd and student section have tried to change it...it now comes out "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, GO BRAVES HOLE"

Oh well.
That happens at every Major League Soccer stadium as well. Not that it makes it ok.
Yes, it's an embarrassment, but again it's only a handful of *****s trying to be funny. The cheer existed in it's original form for many years, but it became an issue last year when some (likely drunk) students started tacking lewd words on the end of it. In the end, it reflects quite poorly on us, I agree.
That said, and I'm not trying to shift the focus here, but there are tons of schools that do a variation of that very cheer after a foul. Hell, 2 of them are in our own league (Indy St and UNI), and UNI does an exact carbon copy of ours! But nobody seems to complain about them. Just saying...

That's because we're wired to dislike all things ISU!
And UNI doesn't bring much of a crowd... maybe also part of the reason no one noticed.
