Looking over the MVC stats only I would say that we are fortunate to be in
2nd place , our shooting has to get better as does our freethrow shooting, we need for Dunson,Maniscalco, and Roberts to each score in double figures every game, then Wilson and our center would start getting better chances inside to score, our offense needs to ave. 70 plus points a game which I believe is obtainable.

I don't think 2nd is what we should be in.We should be in 3rd,4th,or5th.

I think we should be tied for 1st! The NIU game was robbed from us and we should have won that one. What game did we win that we did not deserve? We are playing great D and that is what is keeping us where we are at. Once our passing game gets on track and we start opening up the shooting by scoring in the paint we will have a legitimate shot at the title. There is no one we cannot beat in this conference IMO.

One thing that stats cannot measure is heart and effort and no matter what the outcome has been with this team they have shown plenty of both. There is no quit with these guys and that is one thing that I am proud of this group. I believe you do see it from the captains first of all and the rest of the team is starting to really grab on to it. I'll also be extremely happy if we get the same effort from DC for the rest of the season that we got tonight. I'm sure his stats will not not be even good tonight but he made the other team along with SS play the middle.
