I still think a shooting guard. But we will have AW and DN next year. I think between Wilkins and Sean Harris we can assume at least one will make it here. If both do that will be a bonus. This opens up a possibilty I was against. I didn't want another JUCO. However if a JUCO big man is available he could fill a gap for a year waiting for the other guys and then after one year playing with them there would be more open playing time for the two big guys after he leaves.

Bring in two JUCO big guys. You have solid returning backcourt players, and decent wing players with Warren, Roberts, and Brown. After SS and DC leave, plus the loss of Theron, you have zero post players with any experience. The only guy you might be able to count on is WE, but AT and the other guys who were recruited can't be counted on yet.

2010-2011 Starting Lineup (this isn't jumping the gun at all, is it?):
1: Eddren
2: Warren
3: Wilkins
4: Brown
5: Egolf
First off the bench, SamM at the 1 & 2 spots.
Who goes where?
1: Eddren, SamM
2: Warren, SamM, Darian
3: Wilkins, Brown
4: JP, MK, Harris
5: Egolf, AT, JP
We've got some flexibility... but this would let us play BIG for a bit. Can you imagine having Sam, Warren, Wilkins, JP, and AT/WE in at once? That'd be a big lineup. Our smallest would be Eddren, Darian, Brown, Harris, JP... and thats not so bad!
Sure things will change. Yes this is a pure shot in the dark as we don't even get lineups right the day of gameday #1 each year... but its nice to think about how big we could be playing. Makes me notice though that we're going to need a 6'3 to 6'6 SG for sure... and someone to fly all over with Brown (maybe thats JW/JP/MK?)

Get the best shooting guard possible or get a Theron/Boogie type if one is available.
I would seriously consider leaving a schollie open though. We already have 6 talented guards fighting for minutes next year. The potential guard recruit(s) would have to be pretty darn good to get any minutes over the 6 guys we already have. Seems like next year would only be good for getting practice experience/stronger for any guard we signed (unless it's someone like Darius Smith).

Right on GTD.
We need to be very careful I think with these scholarships. I think a minimum of height needs to be about 6-3 maybe even 6-4.
If the coaches think AT and WE is ready for next season (and they'd know more than anyone) then we need 1. a freshman lights-out-comin'-off-the-screen-hand-in-your-face-shooter and 2. another JUCO Theron Wilson slasher type..I know we have TB but he'll only be a sophomore and isn't exactly the same type of player as TW and CR hasn't proven he's up to the job like TW was/has been. If there isn't one availabe that looks up to the task then we need another big shooter.
If the coaches think AT and/or WE will not be ready for next season then we need 1. same as before and 2. An immediate impact JUCO center...hopefully with some sense in his brain and with reasonable athletic ability. I will take another Z.Andrews in a hearbeat.

A team can never have too many shooters...It just isn't possible...
Therefore I would say a guy who can play the 3 that is anywhere from 6'5" to 6'7" that can shoot the 3 would be a great get.
a) Most important would be his 3-pt %
b) Next his quickness
c) His defense
We need a guy who can come in and score at will if he's given the ball a-la Woodfox, Witter, Elridge....someone along those lines, but in that size range as we'll already have Warren and Norris who can occupy the 1 or the 2...
**People who talk about JuCo bigs....remember how well that has worked out for us lately and in the past**
