Try to talk about something we can control like not leaving shooters wide open or attacking the basket and getting to the line.
if u new anything about basketball you would realize that the charging call on EM when he kicked the ball to the corner for a SM three and the intentional foul I have NEVER seen in my 32 years of watching basketball would have been correctly called we would have won this game! That is just to much for a team to overcome on the road!

"...the best referees are the ones that are off the radar, can chuck their egos, and let the men making the big bucks determine the outcome. " -AskMen.com article on referees.

        The MVC...where phantom intentional fouls...happen.

The MVC is not going to review the Refs, nor are the NCAA.

Time for Mr. K.K. to get on the phone to Mr. Majerus and see if St. Lou is interrested in doing and even swap... Majerus and Co. can have the Valley and we will play in the A10.

You know it might be nice to watch Xavier v. BU or Dayton v. BU instead of the refs trying to be part of the show.

We are out drawing DePaul these days maybe we could do an even swap with the Blue Demons and test our luck in the Big East.

Maybe we should just swap with Western, heck, I've seen a few Summit League games, don't recall the refs trying to be the main attraction.

UNI inbounding, BU down 2, 22 seconds left, Ref calls intentional foul before the ball inbounded on ordinary contact, probably a foul, but no way intentional. UNI hits both intentional foul shots to go up by 4, then inbounds the ball, BU fouls them, and they miss both foul shots on the regular foul.

Ok I am not trying to start a fight here... really... i am not... but it does not appear to have really hurt you that bad at all... maybe a couple of seconds at most??? What am I missing...

I respect the posters that say it did not cost them the game but was a horrible call (not that i dont respect the others... but blaming a ref for a loss is pretty busch IMO...but i didnt see the play) ... but do the posters that say it ended their chance at a comeback or cost them the game... how so, if the total damage was 2 pts and a possible few seconds off of the clock?

The score was tied when the foul on McCain was called out by the mid-court line, that was a terrible call and it was the start of when the officials decided to determine who would win the game, the intentional foul call on a hold on the inbounds play just proved that they were going to decide that N.Iowa would be the winner. I have never seen a call like that in the thousands of basketball games that I have watched. I really feel bad for the players as they had put themselves in a position to win this game and it was completely taken away from them by the officials. You will never see anyone from this officiating crew get any big time games because of how bad they are.

The fact that they lost by 5 is irrelevant. That call and the extra 2 points, took the game out of Bradley's hands.
OK I must be confused... i dont think you and Dubl R are giving me the same info... I'll just wait for the box score and play by play to come out and take a look myself

I actually remember a call that I think was as bad or even worse. I don't remember which game it was, but it was part of the South Padre Invitational. They called Bradley for an intentional foul in a similar situation (though that may have actually been a tie game, I can't remember--- guessing it was vs. Vandy based on that) but it was a really weak player-with-clear-lane to basket call. Was ridiculous because I don't think that player had even crossed midcourt and the foul LOOKED like any of the billion other unintentional intentional fouls at the end of a close game.

We're gonna blame the officials for a loss instead of 5 minutes of unacceptable end game coaching. Nice.

2 were Dave Draucker (tall with white hair) and Bo Boroski (dark hair).

Zelton Steed (JL's nemesis) was the third.

Huh? Most, I think, have said that the refs did not decide the game, but did destroy the come back Bradley was trying. Of all the things you could put the game on though, I'm not seeing the coach. The only questionable part of coaching I noticed was where DC did not get back in the game.

No timeouts to stop the bleeding. . .not trying some energy off the bench during the drought. . .poor play calling (resulting in wasted possessions), etc. . .

Say what you want, but those things have and will continue to cost us. And in this case it cost us first place. No one should be surprised.

Dominate for 35, and lose it in 5.
