No....we just want Wilkins to stay committed to BU.

Sorry...it won't happen. BU will NOT win the conference. I fear we are headed back to the 4 MAYBE 5 spot. Beat UNI and 3 comes back into play.

We can't lose at home again and thats going to be tough. Just not enough firepower.

    As usual...hope I'm wrong.

    I know I know...I'm no fan.

Think BU has as good a chance as anyone - there are tons more twists and turns in the conf race - I don't see anyone running away with it.

Can we please skip the political sarcasm and stick to sports? I thought that was something we all agreed on. We don't have to do that, but if we don't, I have a few things to say about why I've been weeping the last 8 years.

Really? What have you been weeping about? All I want is a conference title. I have been pretty consistent with that for more than 8 years.

                    Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Hey, now - BB is "hoping" on winning and I said "yes we can" win.

                      Just words. Just comments.

                      And related to Bradley basketball.

Yes, Bradley hoops is what all the weeping is about today. Here's hoping that Jim Les never elevates winning a game above Bradley's core principles. Here's hoping that we don't accidentally bus down to SIU when we're scheduled to play ISU. Here's hoping that JL will not always coach by gut instinct, but will occasionally view game tapes in preparation. Here's hoping he never tells an assistant, "Don't show me any more game tapes unless you alter the outcome to fit my scouting report." Let's have faith that JL will never tell the press after several 30-point losses that our team is "fundamentally sound." Yea verily, then a new day will be upon us. A day when we can weep with pride rather than embarrassment; a day when the entire conference will stop laughing at us and start pulling for us (at least for OOC games).

And for Heaven's sake, let's not have a little bit of hope . . . just for one day . . . without any cynicism.

This team was picked to finish 5th and that was with Warren and Egolf playing, (we win the league with them) the team has played better then expected and if they can win the rest of their games at home and win 2 more road games then they will finish in the top 3 which I believe to be a successful season. I think the coaching staff has done a great job with so many new players on this team.
