Lets just drop the Religion and National Anthem issues.
I say we put his picture on the CC wall next to all the great players who played for BU. He did so much for BU and showed so much appreciation.
I'm sure if he stayed at Bradley for four years and was an outstanding player for us...you guys would be more accepting to his religious beliefs.
I am not religious, but I still respect others' beliefs. He was not doing it to show blatant disrespect. Just because he doesn't honor a flag doesn't mean he doesn't respect or value what people have done for our country.

FW-On, I know what you saying on the four years and I am also very sensitive to one's religion and religious beliefs. I am sorry if I came across like I am not. I attend St. Marks weekly. I just am not convinced the National Anthem thing was about religion but more of his negative actions to disrupt the team and another one of his negative acts. It would be interesting to know if he continued to do his act at New Mexico, in the pros, the other night at the all star game and for that matter did he do it in HS before he came to BU. Also as I said put the religion issue aside and just judge the guy on how he acted and treated a University, its people and the fans who bent over back wards to help this guy after all the other negative things he did here.
This is the last I will say about DG, as I think this has gone on way to long now. There are way to many good/great players who played for BU that are far more deserving of more positive talk than to waste another minute him!
