I dunno about "steal a win," but we need to play a good, tough game to win.

Article from today's Chicago Tribune- it doesn't mention the BU-SIU game, but it is still nice to see some publicity in Chicago.

SIU isn't a deep team. The thing that concerns me the most is our free throw shooting. I am not pleased, but I can live with 15% or 20% if we take less than 10 a game. that means we're taking the ball inside, and inevitably going to the line. Being aggressive to the basket combined with SIU being short on bodies means we can definitely take this game. But we have to make our free throws!

Does Direvtv carry ESPNU? If so, what channel number?

I just arrived in Carbondale. Set a new record from Peoria- 3 hrs 30 minutes from my home to the Holiday Inn Carbondale. I tried a new route and it cut a significant amount of time off the trip.
The weather is great- sunny and 50 degrees.
The team has not arrived here yet.
It looks like the students are in session. Looking forward to the game.

I might have a few extra tickets to the game tomorrow. If anyone is coming down and needs tickets, PM me.

The team arrived at the hotel around 6:30. They left Peoria around 1:30. They must have taken the long route.

The players are lounging around the pool and spa, and they will be eating out at the Longhorn Steakhouse. The team seems relaxed and confident.

This was posted in another thread, but I'll post it here to make sure all the fans in Peoria who don't get ESPNU see it.

Buffalo Wild Wings in Peoria and East Peoria will be showing the BU-SIU game and are welcoming Bradley fans. I just got this promotional ad in my email--

why does the sign say 6:05 comcast when comcast doesn't offer ESPNU?

I would guess that is just a mistake.

That thing looks like it was put together in Word anyway... not sure I'd trust that the proof checked everything...

It's almost like they really don't even want to talk about the BU-SIU rematch.
They are shocked that the line is in favor of SIU, they seem to be expecting to lose!
Can't even recall the last time we won down there...have they no confidence in their own team?
Nah... they just remember the 27 points we were up on them during the last game... I think I'd be thinking the same thing.

(Can you imagine how Drake feels about UNI? They won't be expecting to beat them @UNI..)
