Typical....while I'm at home I can't watch the basketball games because I'm not in Peoria. Then when I finally come back to Peoria I can't see the first game because it's on ESPNU which comcast doesn't carry. My luck.

Find someplace in Peoria that carries ESPNU. I know AA Pizza has in the past.

Better call first - AA Pizza might show football instead. (football is still going - isn't it )

I believe Tornado has quote on here many times the owner of one of the BWW3's up there is a finacial supporter of BU. I doubt his establishment wont show the Bradley game. Especially with only one play off game going, I am sure there are enough TV's there for both.

I really would like to see the game as well and of course Comcast customer's can't subscribe to ESPNU !

Will either of the Buffalo Wild Wings locations be showing the game? The Baltimore/Pittsburgh NFL playoff game is at 5:30pm

I drove by last night and the new Double A's is now open in Peoria too. Will they be showing the BU game?

They're starting to play like SIU. I am really scared now. Even though the records don't show, it looks like we might be playing two of the top teams in the Valley on the road. We gotta come out with more intensity than ever, as the Salukis seem to have fire in their eyes. They outhustled Creighton but things didn't go their way at the end. We have to hit open shots and most of our FTs Sunday, or we lose.

Same with Double A's. We went there for the Michigan State game and while there were 4-5 football games on other televisions, they had the Bradley game on the bigscreen.

They were moving into their new digs around Thanksgiving, but I haven't made it to the new place yet. I just called and was told they will have the Bradley game on.

I'm going to be down in St. Louis this weekend, and was thinking about sneaking over to catch the game Sunday night since I'll be over halfway there already. Anyone know if BU season ticket holders can get tickets to away games that aren't in the total nose bleed section?

The Bradley ticket office and the AD have some tickets to the away games. Check with them. For SIU, they only get a few down low, and most are up in the upper sections. But the SIU arena is relatively smaller, and the upper level seats are not too bad. The few lower ones BU gets will likely go to the Braves Scholarship Society people, but since it's a Sunday night, I suspect fewer Bradley people are going.
If you don't decide until late whether to go, you can always contact someone from BU the day of the games, but you have to know how to do it. Feel free to PM me if you need a number to contact someone Saturday or Sunday.

I think we are playing a lot better than we were back in Dec. when SIU came to town. David is playing much better and more consistantly, we are taking better shots and playing much better "D". Not real certain about our substitution patterns but overall we are much better. Interested in others thoughts...

                          BU-SIU pregame notes from BradleyBraves.com
PEORIA, Ill. ? The Bradley men's basketball team will try to continue its best league start in more than a decade and remain on top of the Missouri Valley Conference when it plays its first "return" game of the season Sunday night at Southern Illinois (7-10, 2-4 MVC).? The Braves (11-6, 5-1 MVC) will be shooting for their fourth straight Valley road win to start the season for the first time since 1985-86 at a place, SIU Arena, where they have lost seven straight.? Sunday's game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

I don't know if we are playing too much better. The past two games our shooting of the 3s and ft's have lapsed back to the nonconference portion of our schedule. That needs to change. If we have improved it's probably not near as much as SIU has improved since then. They will be ready and eager to get revenge. I do think we can win and I do think we are more talented than them, but we need big games from DC & SS and we need to make FREE THROWS!! Those are the things here on out for the rest of the season. Consistent D like we've been playing, free throws, few more made 3's, decent contribution from either DC/SS.

This is going to be a lot tougher game as SIU is playing much better , we need to steal a win if we plan on staying in 1st place. This might be one of our defining games of the conf. season .
