  • Indy St.'s Powder Blue Uniforms

Does anyone know why Indiana St. switched away from the powder blue uniforms to more of a traditional royal blue? The powder blue uniforms look much better!

Didn't Creighton used to have more of a light blue, as opposed to a royal blue? Why did they switch as well?

Lastly - when Indy St. visits Bradley on 1/24, it is "Throwback night". Does anyone know if BU's throwback uniforms they wear will be white or red?

Either way they are both ugly colors for a uniform.

North Carolina has had some success with that color!

Yes, but it is still ugly and kinda whimpy looking.

They can call it powder blue, but everyone knows it's just baby blue.
Here's the deal, Wyoming for football, Bradley for basketball.

Mike is correct in that those were the colors of the uniform back when Larry Bird took the Sycamores to the nat"l championship game against Magic Johnson and the Mich. ST. spartans.

So the question stands - why would they have ever changed their school colors? Going to a Final 4 is a pretty big deal!

Well BU used to have Red, White, and Blue in our unis. Fashions change with the times. I, for one, love the Powder Blue unis of ISU.

I like the light blue color better than the darker blue but to each his own.....I do not know why they changed!
