Just got finished watching that game on tape. OMG, was that game nuts or what?! Well, we knew Creighton was too good to fall too far back, but sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Now they will be hanging around all season.
However, I disagree that we will see an SIU team that was proud of their effort against Creighton. They will be ticked off big time, but they also may be down on themselves for letting this one get away from them. I still think they will be ripe for the picking, though it certainly won't be by 37 points this time around!
In all seriousness, we are capable of beating them there, but it is still in Carbondale, and that has been a major snake pit for us. So we can get them there, but I'm not 100% confident it will happen. Their poor record and inexperience does give us a good shot though.
