Whoever wrote that forgot to mention that most other team's big players have a pretty easy time just backing into DC and moving him out of the way for an easy basket. I do not think DC is a good defensive player.

GTD I'm with you! DC believe or not is a better offensive player then defensive. He cannot guard a big who has moderate moves with their back to the basket. A good defensive player plays with intensity, play after play and loves to deny easy baskets. DC neither has the intensity nor the hunger to truly own the paint.

The thing that frustrates me the most about him is when he hustles and really puts some effort into playing harder he has had success.

I hate to say it but the success of this team will depend on DC more then anyone else. SS gives us all he has and I do not expect any more from him then what we have seen so far. TW needs to stay out of foul trouble but usually carries us for stretches of the game, TB is young and I do not expect him to carry us at anytime this year except for very small stretches, CR will have his good and bad days for now but watch out next year, DD has always been a bit streaky, and our guards are young. If DC can play with intensity and some anger we'll be pretty good and if not very average. When he has stepped up his game it really has changed the dynamic of the team. I really do not know what goes on in his head and I doubt if JL does but DC is the only one on this team right now that can become a different maker. I'm still holding out hope but that hope is fading after each game. I have no anger toward him just a bit of fan frustration because he has shown us glimmer of the possibilities.
I maybe wrong about his potential and I guess we'll find out during these next few games where he is at.
