It would be cool if the women made it to the NCAA tournament. They have a good chance.

I had a chance to see this game and have to share a funny story...

Jenny Van Kirk falls down playing d and the Evansville girl falls over her.. WHistle blows and ref calls blocking on Van Kirk... Paula says, "she was on the ground and fell over and the Evansville girl fell over her"...

      "Can't my player fall down?"

Ref says "Yes, she can, but then she has to move!"

Paula shook her head and walked away...
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

That's a funny story. I was distracted during some of that and was curious about what was going on.

I DO believe the ruling is correct, though. I coulda sworn I saw something about accidental tripping that will be called a foul. So if accidentally causing a player with possession to fall, a player will get called for fouling them... therefore, in this case, Bradley gets called for the foul.

By the way... Bradley struggled early in the game and trailed at the 1/2. Seemed like there were a lot of turnovers. But Bradley made a huge move in the 2nd 1/2 to take control and open it up on Evansville.

Michelle Lund was 5-14 from 3......I cannot remember seeing anyone take 14 3's in a game?

Bradley women's basketball has only had 5 winning seasons in the past 20 years.
This is the best record after 15 games in Bradley women's history. The only season that comes close was Jan Winkler's third season as coach (she was Bradley's second coach after Annelle Griffin), 1979-80, the 5th year Bradley fielded a women's team. They started 13-3, and finished 20-9. However, most of those wins were against Division II and Division III schools.

They have never played in a post season tournament. And their record in the MVC tournament, since it began in 1983, is 2-17. Twice in 17 seasons they advanced past the first round and lost in the second round.
