Evansville looks awful. They shot dreadfully in the 1st half, and didn't seem interested in guarding Indiana St very much. Even still, Indiana St turned the ball over 10 times. After seeing these two duke it out, I still think Indiana St is Thursday-bound, and that Evansville might be able to make it to 5th or 6th.

Shy Ely is clutch. This is a barn burner.

Indiana St shows why they've only won 3 games this year.

Evansville wins 65-59. Indiana State is not as bad as its record, as they keep things competitive.

I disagree. Indiana St is as bad as their record. They had no business losing this game at home. They were dominating Evansville for nearly 30 minutes.

True, you're right. But they are no pushover at home, and Evansville had to make some big plays to win.

I'll agree there. We have to hope the Hullman Center is as dead in two weeks as it was today. I don't think Indiana St will be able to handle our athleticism. Defense and free throws should make that a win.

Wow, was that about a quiet a crowd as I have seen in the Valley in a long time! They have a nice facility though, but it only seemed about 30% full. Too bad when you compare their atmosphere to SIU's, WSU's, Creighton's or even ours.

So yeah, let's hope they have a snow storm going when we play there. Then even fewer people will show up!

Very impressive comeback by Evansville though! They got the road monkey off their backs, at least for now. They will be a big problem for us at their place!

I know Dave Snell really likes the Hullman Center, but I think the place is a dump. They haven't renovated the place since Larry Bird played, and they don't even have a scoreboard that hangs from the ceiling.

I did like a few of the watering holes near the Hullman though. Some very nice 'scenery' when I was there a few years ago prior to a BU win.

Jason Holsinger had a terrible game- 35 minutes, 0-5 from the floor, and only 1 assist. But Nate Garner (21 points, 7 rebounds) and Shy Ely (24 points, 6 rebounds) had big games. Evansville won without making a single three pointer, and a total of 2 points from their bench.

                            box score-

attendance only 3,325 in Terre Haute
