Couldn't be happier about the W and for the MOST part EM has been great. So far, since taking over the point, he can blow by ANY defender he has faced. I love him and think BU has a SOLID to great pg for the next 4 years.

With that said will he learn to stop leaving his feet when he gets down low before he has a man to pass it to. I thought he did better against WSU with that looking for the pull up J a few times.

Tonite it was back to the drive too deep...outta control and stuck in traffic. Again...he has all the potential in the world and I wouldn't trade him for anyone its just one part of his game he's going to have to fix to make us a better team.

Seems to me D. Ruffin did the same thing quite a bit when he was a Freshmen....he turned out to be pretty good! EM will be fine...he is still learning and has a very bright future IMO.

EM needs to cut down on the unforced turnovers. 5 is a lot. But he's a freshman, and doing a darn good job. The experience he is gaining is invaluable.

Agree with both of you. Didn't want to be a Debbie Downer by ANY means. Its like dating a supermodel and complaining about her eye color.

Its just a part of his game that IF he cleans up it will make us that much better....I know...DUH.

As I posted in another thread, Eddren had 8 turnovers at Wichita, and 5 last night at MSU. But prior to that, he had only 25 in the 12 previous games he played, which is great for such a quick PG who handles the ball a lot. Just a couple weeks ago we were talking about how good his assist-to-turnover ratio was for a freshman. Eddren's smart, and his he'll be OK.
