Hey all! Just wanted to stop in and say "hey", way to go Braves on a great start to the MVC season. I haven't been on here in a really long time, as I don't usually keep up on the boards on the offseason (I know, a sin), and I'll give you my bad excuse, which is that I have been busier than I normally would be. I am now at school at the U of I, and until the break, I haven't really been able to go to any games, BU or UI. Thus far, I've only been to the UI/Mizzou and UI/PU games this year.
But, I've tried to follow all the games when I can, and after a somewhat rocky start, I'm happy to see BU tied for first place in the Valley with a couple of nice road wins. I caught part of the ISU game tonight (which I tuned into on commercials of that travesty that took place in San Diego) and I must say they are impressive. It will take a great effort and a very loud, strong crowd next Tuesday to take them out. Their fan base is quite energized, as tonight's blowout win over Creighton was a sellout in Normal. This team is good, but they're not unbeatable, and a scrappy BU team can give 'em their first win. GO BRAVES!
