  • BU Women

Well, I know this was mentioned some time ago, near the end of last season, but what is latest on BU women's team?

I know they had some disciplinary problems at end of last year, but now Ty Margenthaler leaves(albeit for a better job) and the entire Minnesota contingent-

Libby Magnuson, V. Ostergaard & Mari Korton, along with Skye Johnson..

    What is going on there?
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

There are issues the team has to deal with, but Skye Johnson isn't one of them. Her knees are preventing her from continuing to play, and she is transferring to ISU to finish school.

I stand corrected. I've been informed Skye has been offered "manager" of the team along with some office work in the basketball office to retain her scholarship. She will stay at BU and be involved with "basketball affairs." Good for her. Anyway, as I originally stated, there were no issues with Skye. I wish her the best as she continues at BU.

          -Whew-

          Bad news and good news.

Skye had a bright future ahead of her. Dang the luck for the Lady Braves.

Great to see BU do the right thing and offer her an alternative to finish her education at Bradley - which I believe is a reason she came to the Hilltop to begin with.
