Carlton Fay - Not That Impressive...

Carlton Fay averaged 23.6 ppg and 12.0 rpg his senior year, but from the games I saw, he did not get as much double and triple teaming as Jordan Prosser has been getting this year, because that Putnam County team did have other guys who could score and rebound.
Nonetheless, Jordan's numbers so far this season are comparable to Carlton's senior averages. I have seen both, and they are very similar caliber players, and in the end they will both have similarly successful college careers.

The only thing I would say is that Fay had enough game to put a high school team with little other talent on his shoulders and get them to the state tournament. They wn something like 30 games his senior year. Prosser's team is 6-5 right now.
On that 2006-2007 Putnam County team-
Anthony Ahlers averaged 9.9 ppg and 7 rpg, David Seibert averaged 9.2 ppg, Joe Brizgis averaged 8.3 ppg, and Kevin Fay averaged 6 ppg.
Ahlers played in the same number of games that season as Carlton Fay played.
Also, it's silly to compare records. That is not a valid measure of one player's talents.
