  • Free Buffalo Wild Wings

For all those who were at the BU game this week vs. SIUE, the prize for the guy who hit the half court shot was that everyone in the arena got a coupon for free Buffalo Wild Wings.

If you are sitting on your BWW coupon, here are a few thoughts...
--first, the coupon is good only until this coming Tuesday, see the little notation on the bottom right of the coupon.
The Peoria area BWW restaurants are fully aware of the vast number of coupons given out last Tuesday, so they will not likely honor it after Tuesday.

--however the coupon also says it is good at the Bloomington BWW and that's where I went today with my family and we used all six of our freebie coupons. The waitress said I didn't need to use them all today as she'd have honored them any time, even though they expire on Tues.
So if you still have them Tuesday, go to Bloomington BWW by the airport.

While we were there ESPN did a little piece on the Iowa game vs. WIU, and talked a bit about new WIU coach Jim Molinari!

I gave mine to my Bro-in-Law. He was gonna take a couple young hungry nephews out for some wings this weekend anyway - so I "pitched" in.

They are good ONLY for six of the TRADITIONAL wings, and not for my
favorite, the boneless wings. Regardless, they all taste good with Teriyaki or Parmesan Garlic sauce, or dipped in Blue Cheese Dressing.

BTW-- the guy who is the franchise operator and manager of the East Peoria Buffalo Wild Wings is a huge BU fan and a Braves Scholarship Society member, so I recommend patronizing his business to help out a fellow BU guy.

Wife doesn't like wings, so I went and renewed my 4 coupons yesterday. First time i've had Buffalo Wild Wings and didn't really know better on how hot there "hot" sauce was LOL. I've had hot wings before but dang those were hot LOL. My lips were still burning hours later. Really took the tastyness out of it so hopefully another person will hit the shots this yr and i'll get BBQ on it instead LOL.

Traditional are so much better at BWW...the boneless taste very dry...

            But to each their own...

And the coupon deal was really poorly done by PCC...most younger ppl ran off with 9-10 coupons each.

Why did they not simply say, show your ticket for six free wings?

They didn't do that because down in the storage room, there are a lot of the coupons for the free wings. I don't think BWW ever really thought that someone would hit the half court shot like was done, thus the change today to having to make a free throw first. Now it is more difficult to get to that point.
