I injured myself at the March Madness experience, had the surgery at the end of March, was on crutches for six weeks, went through rehab for the summer & was back to playing softball in the fall league. The main problem I had was on the psychological side - it took me nearly a year to trust that the knee was fine. Once I realized that there was no loss in ability that I could see, I could still run as fast, jump as high and hit the ball as far. That is why I'm convinced barring any unforseen problems, WE will be back at a minimum to where he left off last year and maybe better if he continues to improve as most do as they mature & progress in a system.

My prediction is that WE is going to be a beast in the MVC by the time he's done.
Yeah it can be sooner. I was just basing it off of my experience in high school. Two of my friends tore their acl's twice and another tore it once. All three of them played soccer and it usually took around 6 months to get back and out of rehab.

At the last luncheon, Coach Les said that WE is 1.5 months ahead of schedule, but they are still taking it very easy.

I hope our fans are not expecting Superman from WE! I just want him ready to play 20 minutes a game come the beginning of conference play. I guarantee those people who are curious to know how the prgress of AT is going will find out next November.

I am speaking from 2x the experience (both knee's = torn ACL ).
in the 2 years between my surgeries...the tech and procedures are very different.
I agree 100% you're good after a few months (4-6)...but the psychological thing only comes through after a while.
I do know for a fact, you do build up ALOT of leg strength w/ the special attention to the legs...so hoping that helps out for next year
