  • Couple o' bright spots from tonight...

Wow, didn't really see too much to be proud of there, but I did see a couple things worth mentioning.

    1. Our cheerleaders looked sharp, very crisp and on time. The bullhorn guy was hitting all his marks, the lifts were perfect, brilliant.

    2. The remote control blimp. Need I say more. Not only is BU the only midmajor I know of with a remote control indoor blimp, but it also drops coupons. And the pilot was really on fire tonight, great turns.

    3. The T-shirt cannon. It seems to have extended range lately. It reached the 4th or 5th row of the upper deck a couple times and didn't even seem to be breaking a sweat. Nice work.

    4. That kid who won the "timeout contest". He did jumping-jacks, jumped rope, hula-hooped, and then made a lay-up. For the game he was 1 for 1, (100 %) from the field. We really need to recruit this kid, he had a better looking shot than any BU player who shot free throws.

Its going to be a looooong year.

Post of the year Peoriakid...post of the year. Look for a 'myths busted' post coming later to tell you how wrong you are on everything.

A little sarcasm is healthy in light of a rough night ...

But if you're going to say that ... the biggest positive was the kid who nailed the halfcourt shot to win wings for the whole arena!
          Go Braves!

He looked too old to have any eligibility left.

I'd love to shoot down that remote control blimp.

I don't know where all the negativism comes from, but from what I saw-

Theron Wilson, Sam Maniscalco, and Chris Roberts played great.
David Collins had a much better game. Eddren was solid again, too.

And, Bradley controlled the game, and won easily. Now on the the MVC season. I am confident Bradley will be 1-0 after Sunday.

Bright Spot: Marcellus Sommerville returned to Peoria for the game. Probably in town for the holidays. Hope he's healthy and gets back on the court soon.
