Myth Busted - Butler vs. Bradley

I am not sure whose "argument" you are attempting to refute...
I have made no "argument", I have only busted the myth that Bradley is in the supposed same spot as Butler, yet Butler is doing better than we are in W-L record.
I believe I have proven Butler has as much or more D-I experience and is (fortunate for them) not being forced to go with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th options at positions like center,
that Bradley is being forced to do because of the injuries.

thanks Mike....but actually even if I am the only one with the correct argument, I wouldn't back down...
I have been standing up for BU for decades and I am proud of it.
Thankfully it has helped bury all the Mr. Happy's, uptempostyles, and other lifelong BU-bashers and haters.
as Da Coach once queried of the BU bashers....why do you torture yourself so much by following BU
if you think BU is a worthless team and poorly coached?

I'll go slow. Here is the math for Theron Wilson's contribution to the minutes-weighted average age of Bradley...
4 years
29 minutes per game
213.8 minutes for the team -> 4 * (29/213.80) = .543
In order to get the "age" of the team, you add all the weighted contributions together and that will tell you the weighted average (per minutes in this case) of the team.
Bradley averages 2.58 years vis-a-vis Butler's 1.79. It is not that complex.
The idea that Bradley is somehow comparable in age to Butler, or even more so younger, is absolutely ridiculous, bordering on delusion.

so let me get this straight....
Bradley decided to "rebuild" with more experienced players and went with a couple jucos instead of completely raw freshmen.
This is all that your silly numbers are showing.
Yet you seem to be jumping on the bandwagon criticizing BU because they haven't "rebuilt" fast enough!
Maybe next time, instead of getting Theron and Dodie, we should have gone harder after guys like Nick Fruendt and LA Pomlee
(and of course no guarantee we'd even get those guys) who are redshirting elsewhere?

We don't have even ONE single guy who had ever previously started even ONE single game at center or even at any position in college basketball now playing post positions.....so no doubt Butler has TONS more experience in the paint.Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Has Butler or Bradley had more success over the past 7 years? Which will have more success for the next 3 years? That equals a decade, and I think a decade can give a good indication of the relative comparison between programs.
Another question - just because posters are not satisfied with the results of the program, does that make them BU haters?"Let's make some noise".

Teams during his tenure as an assistat coach compiled the top three single season win totals in Butler basketball history prior to 2007-08.

The "bashers" care just as much about BU as you or anyone else. Would you prefer our team be the loveable losers? We would sell out every game despite a poor product because you can drink and have a good time? The money keeps coming in so why care how the team does? Are those real fans? Are you really a fan if you blindly support your team without having any expectations? I think not!
