Creighton plays Fresno St in a tourney in Las Vegas, not in Omaha. -
Thanks. Rivals/Yahoo had Creighton as the home team.
They are playing in the Orleans Arena, the same place Bradley will play next year.

Stinnett doesn't seem to be the same player....what's going on?
He didn't have a bad game, but was only 1-5 from 3-pt range, zero assists,
and on the season he is hitting only 25% from 3-pt range.
Again, Creighton was led by Woodfox (24 points) and Witter (6 pts, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, 5 steals, and only one turnover)
(both Woodfox & Witter were late juco "gets" for Creighton in 2007, so just where would they be without those guys?)
but this game was closer than the final score indicates.
Creighton needed a buzzer beater 3-pointer just to get into the lockerroom at half with a tie. Then early in the 2nd half, Fresno State's
best player and top scorer, Paul George, injured his arm, and was esentially done for the game, even though in just over one half of play, George had 21 points.
Without George, Fresno stalled and Creighton pulled away.
In the SIU game, Carlton Fay continues to struggle a bit...wonder if he's injured?
The past two games he is just 3-13 and 0-4 from 3-pt range with only 5 total rebounds in the two games combined.
Those numbers reflect his two worst games this year, w/ bad scoring and rebounding outputs, and no blocks, no steals, and no 3-pointers made.
Since they played their DII opponent early on, they've been averaging only 61 ppg.
There are now five Valley teams averaging 65 ppg or less.....it is a down year in the Valley!Comment
