The Seat May Be Warmer, But I Don't Think It's That Warm
I'll have to admit that I was very wrong about Coach Les being able to turn this around based on the non-conference performance, especially after the SIU-E game.
I was frustrated because we were throwing 3's like we still had Ruffin/Crouch and it wasnt working. And Les wasnt adapting his strategy. He finally ditched the 3 and changed our game a bit and after a bit of practice/acclimation to our new 'game' we start winning.
That is the only sense I can make out of it all. It wasnt a matter of Les or the team not being able to adjust, it was a matter of not WANTING to. You go 2-3 games with poor performance and you need to adjust and FAST.
