This exact same stuff and even harder contact go on all the time in the Big Ten & elsewhere, and yet nothing called.
It must be part of the overall plan in this league to do this so as to discourage any decent big man from ever wanting to play in the MVC!

And I agree that Chris Roberts should not be shooting 3-pointers while guarded early in the shot clock.
I agree on the moving screens, ticky tack in the paint fouls being called way more in the Valley. But that's just another reason to get the ball to somebody on the block, DC can draw fouls in this league by just turning and shooting the ball. I thought in the second half up in Milwaukee it looked as if BU came out determined to get the ball inside early, and it worked, and we went on a run. DC got a couple of foul shots, a turn around jumper and theron got a little 8 footer off a pass to the paint. Then all of a sudden we went very small, no DC or AT for about the final 8 minutes and UWM just put their head down and drove the paint, getting a foul literally evertime down the floor for about 6-7 trips in a row. The foul on the 3 point shooter was a killer when we were down 6 late in the 2nd half as well.

We were also a -17 in the 2nd half with DC in the game...

Somehow that spells Panther victory to me...

AT can't do much worst than DC, go ahead and test him out. CR and TB are inconsistent but always gives effort, especially on the boards but JL needs to limit their roles offensively and (like many others) make them play D. EM has been solid as well but his youth shows plenty. SM needs to sit down until he can learn what a team concept is. DN is inconsistent but has a chance to be a key player for us.

That's how I'm seeing it too. Can't figure why DD's minutes are reduced, as I think he's been our best player most of the year.

That's kind how I saw it going too, Dubl R 1. It seemed like the halftime adjustment from the coach was to get the ball inside... We racked up points and got some of their players in foul trouble. Before too long though, we were the perimeter squirrel derby team again.

I'm in this court also......When we went inside good things seemed to happen. We also need to convert on the front end of the 1-1s.

You are saying that UWM outscored BU by 17 in the second half during the minutes that DC played? That would be surprising to me, if true.

How is that ever surprising if we're watching the same game

You are not even close on this. Where did you get this absurd data. Did you just make it up? Here are the 2nd half numbers with DC in and out of the game.

David Collins started the 2nd half.

BU outscores UWM 10-3 before DC exits at the 15:19 mark. (+7)

Without DC for the next 2:02 BU outscores UWM 4-2.

DC returns at the 13:19 mark. UWM outscores BU 7-6 before DC exits at the 10:09 mark. (-1)

DC does not return the rest of the game, and UWM outscores BU 24-22.

So, I ask again, How did you derive that BU was a -17 in the 2nd half with DC in the game?

If you look at the numbers or were watching the game, you'd see that BU was a +6 with DC in the game and were even up without him in the 2nd half.

The above was your response to my saying that if that stat was accurate that you gave, it would be surprising to me. So, we must not have been watching the same game StLouBrave22, I was watching BU-UWM, who were you watching?
