  • Brandon Roy

Did anyone see the the NBA game last night Phoenix at Portland?

Brandon Roy put on a Michael Jordan-esque performance. He was everywhere, and did everything.
He scored 52 points on 14-27 and 5-7 from 3-pt, often a full body length behind the arc.
He also had 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and numerous fine defensive plays.

Lamarcus Aldridge and Steve Blake also had good games.

Roy has now scored 30, 33, 38, 29, and 52 in his last five games, and has boosted his average in just a little over a week from 20 ppg to 23.4 ppg.

I knew all along the Bulls screwed up that draft. They should have either kept Aldridge at #2, or when they traded him to Portland for the 4th pick, they should have drafted Roy, instead of Thomas.

Not knocking Brandon, but the Suns play amazing defense...

        Brandon is amazing

Speaking for those who have the pleasure of watching Brandon on a game by game basis this game was inevitable. Dude is so good. He scored 52 and only took 27 shots. He was so efficient last night it was unreal. He gets to the cup better than anyone I've seen in a long time and is the best off hand finisher in the league.

I have a feeling many on this board would really appreciate how Brandon does it. Efficiently, quietly, fundamentally. As someone who has ignored the NBA for a while (until he joined the Blazers), this team is really fun to watch.
